Coach.me exists because we believe in the “magical” combination of habit science, supportive technology, and aligned coaches. We believe that lasting impacts are achieved through integrated experiences: educational media, events, coaching, and community. We believe that technology can provide helpful scaffolding and facilitate meaningful connections.
Today we’re announcing our next step forward: Scott Maderer is joining Coach.me as Director of Coaching Programs.
If Scott’s name looks familiar, it should. He’s served on our Advisory Committee, bringing over a decade of coaching experience to the table as we’ve grown. He’s the founder of Inspired Stewardship, a coaching practice he built from the ground up, holds an MBA, and is a certified Human Behavior Consultant. He already knows this community, and has been quietly shaping our thinking on coach programs for a while. Now he’s taking on a bigger role in building what’s next for it.
What Scott Will Be Leading
In this role, Scott will lead our next round of coach-facing work, with four priorities:
- Revamping our coaching memberships and their benefits: a clearer structure, better support at every level, and a fairer path for coaches as they grow with us.
- Updating our coach training programs: sharpening the Habit Coach Certification and the resources coaches rely on to stay current long after they’re certified.
- Setting coaches up for success: the ongoing work of making sure every coach on the platform has what they need to do their best work, consistently.
- Developing new coaching offerings, grounded in what actually works: building on our own client results and research, including an upcoming study with Dr. Donita Brown, a fellow member of our Advisory Committee.
Why This Matters
Coaching, done well, changes people’s lives. It’s the conversation that helps someone finally stick with the habit they’ve tried a dozen times before. It’s the accountability that turns a vague goal into consistent action. It’s the perspective that helps someone see who they’re actually capable of becoming – and that ripples outward, into their families, their work, their communities.
Scott’s focus is to make sure that power holds up at scale, so every client who finds a coach through Coach.me gets coaching that genuinely moves them forward.
We’re glad to have him leading that work.
More updates on the specifics — new membership tiers, training updates, and what to expect as a coach on the platform — are coming soon.
