If you’re a new mom or know someone who is, take a look at the Rookie Moms group on Lift.
Heather and Whitney started the Rookie Moms blog and the Lift group because they found that daily planned activities helped them get through the craziness of being a first-time mother. No one said being a parent was going to be easy, but it is not impossible, as there are plenty of good moms and dads out there. From changing your baby’s nappy and singing them nursery rhymes, to watching them pretend playing and attempting to speak, watching the development of your kid will be worthwhile for any parent.
Their blog is filled with reminders for new moms to take care of themselves as well as inspiration for adventures and projects that they can do while caring for their newborn, like the habits in Rookie Mom group:
- Try a challenge with your baby.
- Connect with a friend (new or old, we don’t care)
- Treat yourself in a little or big way
- Find something to be thankful for
With Rookie Moms now on Lift, new moms have a tool that makes it easier to achieve their daily goals and a support system with other new moms 24/7.
Mad props (and now Lift props) to all the new mothers out there.
